Spring Meditation & Inspiration Course

Sow Seeds of Stillness, Grace and Inspiration for Spring with Marion Young & Jan Collis.

6 Tuesday evenings, 18th February to 25th March 2025 from 7.30 to 9pm, on Zoom, audio only.

As we get ready to emerge from our winter hibernation and into a time of spiritual renewal, we prepare our physical, emotional, mental and spiritual ‘soil’ ready to receive new seeds of Grace and inspiration for 2025.

The central theme of this course is deepening your connection with stillness & the power of silence, to help inspire you to see your life freshly in a real and practical way.

Using our collective focus, you’ll discover ways to:

  • Prepare your physical, emotional, mental and spiritual energy ready for Spring.
  • Nourish your inner sanctuary for welcoming the power of silence and stillness
  • Listen to the wisdom of your Soul as you receive guidance on what ‘seeds’ to sow, ready for growing and blossoming in the summer, and harvest in the autumn.
  • Establish and maintain an easy and practical morning and evening routine to suit your lifestyle and personality.
  • Learn to trust and stay open to receive inner guidance and wisdom from your highest and purest source.
The meditation style I offer on this course is extremely simple, and creates a doorway into silence and stillness. Immersing yourself in stillness is deeply relaxing and nourishing, leaving you feeling refreshed, inspired and connected.

And with so much change and so many challenges in our world, our meditation & stillness practices are now becoming more important than ever before.

Silence and Stillness

Steeping in stillness and silence connects you to the quantum field, the infinite field of energy that brought you into physical form. Our connection to it is ongoing, although in the busy-ness of modern life it is sometimes easy to forget. Our minds become too cluttered to hear the guidance for inspired actions that make our lives feel magical and divine.

These evenings will help you to stay connected to the source of your Soul’s wisdom, inspiring you to take simple and effective actions to stay centred and uplifted as you prepare your energy for Spring.

We will visit our ‘Soul Garden Centre’, asking our Soul’s wisdom to guide us towards the seeds and seedlings that will bring us the most joy and abundance.

Each evening includes a guided meditation, inspirational readings, self-enquiry exercises, time in ‘The Silence’, and a buffet of suggestions to help you stay elevated yet grounded during the following week.

All sessions are recorded for repeat listening.

Meditation and Stillness

Meditation and stillness strengthen the immune system, calm the nervous system, and connect us with the energy and wisdom of the quantum field. As neurophysiologist Dr Shanida Nataraja says in her book The Blissful Brain – Neuroscience and Proof of the Power of Meditation:

“Meditative practices should be at the heart of all health care systems.”

Marion Young

Marion Young

Marion has over 30 years’ experience as a therapist, meditation and group facilitator. She is passionate about the benefits of silence and stillness, and of following the natural rhythms of rest and action.

Marion often spends long periods of time in silence, including a number of nine night retreats, and this has been integral to the creation of her courses, programmes and retreats, to which she also brings her extensive experience of guiding her clients and groups into silence.

As an Accredited Brandon Bays Journey Practitioner, an NLP Practitioner, Meditation Teacher and Group Facilitator Trainer, Marion facilitates spiritual mentoring programmes, courses, workshops and has an international private therapy practice, both in person and on line.

Jan Collis

Jan Collis Silent Retreat facilitator
From working in education while her children were young, to later being a company director in the construction industry, Jan’s life was profoundly changed when she met Marion over twenty years ago. This led her to the work of Brandon Bays ‘The Journey’, and in 2010 she completed her training as a Journey Practitioner and then as an NLP practitioner.

Supporting others has been at the core of everything she does, and Jan continues her private therapy practice, personal development and training, deepening her connection to the silence and the wonder that can be found there.

With extensive experience in supporting others to access this presence in themselves, Jan is now an integral part of the team on many of Marion’s events.

Marion and Jan will draw upon their wealth of experience of leading stillness and self-enquiry events, retreats and programmes for groups, as well as supporting their clients on their individual spiritual journeys.

How the course works

The online Zoom sessions in this course are audio only, to help you step away from all distractions and to turn your focus within. The emphasis is on your own personal experience while still being part of a collective energy – a powerful combination.

The Zoom chat feature will be available for any questions or to share realisations. By creating your own sacred space at home and meeting as part of a group every week, it will be easier for you to maintain and deepen your own private spiritual practice.

 

 

Preparing for these evenings

  • Choose a favourite chair or place in your home that you can use for the guided evenings and your private practice.
  • Find a beautiful candle or candle holder and use it during the session.
  • You will need a journal and a pen.
  • Prepare your space at least 15 minutes before we start so that you are ready to dive in.
  • You’ll be able to let me know by email if you have any questions or concerns before or after the sessions.
