A guided visualisation to meet your younger and your future self
This gentle and comforting visualisation was recorded during a recent Half-day Online Silent Retreat, so I would highly recommend that you listen to this meditation when you have plenty of time, so you can relax into the stillness and take some time afterwards to rest and reflect.
Choose somewhere cosy and comfortable to sit or lie down, and have pen and paper to record any wisdom that you receive when the meditation has ended.
The visualisation starts with an invitation to settle into your ‘thin place’. This is a term that is often used to describe a location (often somewhere in the natural world) where the veil between the physical and the spiritual worlds is somehow finer, a place where awareness is expanded and the gap between our earthly and higher self is ‘thinner’. Not only can the subtle sounds of our soul wisdom be heard and felt more easily in these places, but the energies are deeply healing and relaxing.
